For Family Home Evening on Monday we carved a pumpkin. The kids had a blast. It took Emma awhile before she would actually put her hand inside it, but once she did, she wouldn't stop playing with the goop and seeds. Jake had fun carving it, making lop-sided eyes. After that I let the kids color on their own small pumpkins, then we put them outside on our porch.

I started this blog to keep in touch with family and friends, and it slowly turned into my own personal therapeutic outlet. Nothing better than typing out your thoughts, trying to make sense of life.

Your family is so adorable! I started a blog not too long ago as well, aren't they great? :)
Does Jake have another pumpkin hidden in his shirt? What is that man?
Are your kids excited to dress up in their costumes? Let the holiday season begin!
