Hobble Creek Half Marathon- SIGN UP TOMORROW!
For anyone who has ever thought of running a half marathon, this race is by far my favorite (and many of my elite runner friends' favorite as well.) The course is gradual down hill, coming out of the Hobble Creek Canyon. It's a beautiful course and I can promise, you won't be disappointed. The race is Saturday, August 21st @ 7:30am and registration opens tomorrow, May 1st. It will likely fill up within 24 hours so you need to act fast. You are suppose to keep this a secret, so I can actually get a spot to run the race. ;)
Don't worry, Crystal. If you sign up early, you will get a spot. Just don't wait too long. Last year I signed up around 3pm on Saturday and I think they were about half full (but the next day it filled up.) I say register by 10am and you will be safe. Once my leg is 100% we will have to start training together.
I'm so bummed I can't do this one with you! You'll do great, another PR? ;)
Dave and I signed up... I don't know why though:) My neighbors have been doing this one for years and all say this is the easiest one. I can only pray they're right.
So are you going to come see me again? Hope so!
Thanks for the comment on my blog. It is frustrating. I thought we'd be in by now too. Is your husband considering starting a new candidacy? Mine just signed up for the written test again. Shoot me now!!
