I took Josh back to the doctor today for a follow-up check of his ear infection the past two months. He had a couple ear infections last year, and got another one in December and was treated. Then a month later at his 18-month appointment found out his ears were not better. I brought him in again today and found out he still has double ear infections. He was prescribed some stronger antibiotics and the dr said he will see him again in a month. If his ears still are not better we will start talking about tubes. Here Jake and I thought he was just overly grouchy lately for no reason. He is also getting a huge molar which can't feel good. Our poor little guy. Hopefully this round of antibiotics will take care of the infections!
(By the way, I wanted to thank everyone for your comments on my weight loss post. I'm lucky to have so many wonderful and caring friends and family who support me. Love you all!)

If you pierced Josh's ear behind my back I'm going to be pissed.
Poor kid! Gavin went through the same thing and the tubes were a blessing. He got them when he was 3, and they just fell outa few months ago. Sadly, he got double ear infections again about a month after they fell out, but this time the antibiotics worked, so hopefully they stay healthy. Good luck. I hope he gets better soon. It's got to be tough to be a little kid.
Grumpy kids are the worst...I hope that things get better this time and you don't have to do surgery.
good luck - keegan had tubes in his ears and it was the best thing we ever did. He had double ear infections every 3 weeks from the time he was 3 months old until he got tubes at 1 year. Has only had 1 ear infection since then, and it was just last month. We went almost 3 years without any! Poor guy, hope he feels better!
I am a HUGE fan of the tubes. Helped my girls immensely!
