If anyone doesn't remember my feelings about Valentine's Day, go back to the post I did last year on V-Day. Things have really changed dramatically since our first Valentine's Day together. This year Jake scored by giving me my favorite sweets (chocolates filled with peanut butter from Cummings) and then had me read this article from The Onion: "I Wish I'd Spent Valentine's Day Eating a Prix Fixe Dinner, But I was Too Busy Getting Beheaded." Slightly disturbing.

wow, that was...sick. Chad and I are spending the day painting our bedroom and then doing some grocery shopping. BUT, he did make heart shaped pancakes with the girls and serve me breakfast in bed, and I did buy us tickets to go see "Wicked" in March, so it's been a pretty good day.

I went back and read your old Valentines blog and it made me laugh as we had the same "growth" issues regarding Valentines Day in our marriage.
