No turning back now...

I signed up for the SLC 1/2 Marathon. It's done. I've committed. No turning back now. If anyone else wants to join me, the more the merrier. I've already roped my two sisters and a couple friends into doing it. For more info, check out the webpage HERE. I promise you it will be worth the $60... and if it's not, well, at least you know you can run 13.1 miles and you will be healthier than if you didn't do it. So, what are you waiting for??!

I was just looking at the race website this morning and I printed a training schedule. I'm 90% sure that I'm going to do it. Judging from your recent 3 mile time I think you will be cheering me in though!

That's awesome that you have something to work toward to keep you going and that you get to do it with your sisters too. I will for sure be passing this year since I will only be maybe 2 months out from having the baby and can't whip my butt into shape that fast, but maybe next year! I'm thinking about signing up for the Dam marathon up in Idaho in June since that will give me something to get my butt in shape for and more months to prepare but we'll see what happens once the baby pops out. I look forward to hearing how the race was for you.

You are awesome! Can I take a rain check for next year? I need to do my first 5K or 5 mile before I hit a 1/2 marathon. Hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas!
