Tonight after FHE Jake and I were looking at Josh's crazy mullet (which has been getting more crazy by the day) and figured it was time for his first haircut. Jake took him up to the bathroom and pulled out the clippers while I made cookies with the other kids. He brought Josh down a few minutes later and I about had a heart attack. The poor kid looks BALD! Jake said he tried a longer attachment and then just went with a #3. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. My baby looks like he's going into the army. Jake knows it's short but still thinks it looks fine. What do you think? My poor little army boy!

Jamie, He looks cute! not Butchered at all. I remember thinking the same way when we cut all of Blake's long beautiful mullet hair off too! I really like the short hair. and he can grow the mullet back in no time :) trust me!
awe, I think he's still such a cutie. It is sad because the haircut makes him look older, but it will grow!
I think he looks handsome, and a little older too. I felt sad when we had to cut Timothy's "wings" off, but I like it better now.
He stills looks so cute! Don't be sad, he's still your little baby boy!
I never noticed his awesome mullet until now. He looks cute either way but maybe a little less like a baby. He's a doll!
Oh, he's so cute!! That's one thing that so great about being a kid...you look great in your pajamas with your hair all messed up and pb&j plastered all over your face. I wish that look worked when you were 28:)
The love note is hilarious. One of Gavin's teachers talked to me today about him fighting other kids. GREAT! I have a bully and you have a ladies man. We're in for it. Oh, and I love the family pictures.
I just got Allie her first haircut too. Baby mullets are great! haha I think he still looks so cute. It does make him look a lot older but still just as cute. I think Allie's makes her look older too.
